June 2, 2026:
The Town of Stoughton Fire Ban has now been lifted.
Residents may resume the use of approved fire pits and outdoor recreational fires, provided they are conducted safely and in accordance with the Town’s Fire Prevention Bylaw.
When having a fire, please remember:
✅ Burn only clean, dry, seasoned wood.
❌ Do not burn garbage, leaves, grass clippings, construction materials, treated or painted wood, plastics, rubber, or any material that creates excessive smoke.

Fire ban in full effect for the Town of Stoughton. No fires are allowed until further notice.
